At Emmaus Road, our mission is to present Christ as Savior, pursue Christ as King, and partner with Christ in service. Impact is our ministry to reach out and showcase God’s love by doing. We believe the love of God is clearest when it is not just proclaimed, but demonstrated. We partner with Christ right here in Fort Collins, illustrating God’s love and compassion with these organizations:

Homeless Gear/Children in Need

Homeless Gear strives to put to use all the unwanted outdoor gear they receive by donation (backpacks, sleeping bags, tents, coats, rain gear, books, etc) by giving it to those without permanent shelter. With a little basic outdoor clothing and hygiene products, they seek to do what they can to make the outdoors a little more like home. We, at Emmaus Road, partner with Homeless Gear/ Children in Need at their monthly distributions.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat of Fort Collins endeavors to change the lives of local low-income families by helping them build a home. They offer hand-ups, not hand-outs. The families are not only required to pay for their house through “sweat equity,” they are also taught essential skills for success along the way.

Emmaus Road partners with Habitat by providing Financial Peace University (FPU), where the families are taught proper financial management and stewardship. Our volunteer opportunities include: helping with home construction, working at the Habitat Home Store, and helping with childcare during FPU sessions.

Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities aims to provide for the poor and those in need throughout all of Northern Colorado. They offer shelter and food to everyone who needs the provision. Emmaus Road partners with Catholic Charities by preparing and serving meals every third Tuesday of the month.
