It is a really great platform to listen to voices that will help you grow professionally, personally, and spiritually. Below are my top three podcast suggestions to help you grow spiritually. 1. The Liturgists Podcast

The Liturgists Podcast

Multi-grammy award-winning artist Micheal Gungor and author Mike McHargue tackle topics from the perspective of science, art, and faith. This podcast is a bit like eavesdropping on conversations between hosts Michael & Mike with their guests; all scored with beautiful music. Listening will afford you new perspective, insight, call you to love those who aren’t like you, and invite you out of your comfort zone. While tackling important and heavy topics, Michael & Mike have a propensity to lighten the mood with 90’s-style rap summations of their discussions. And it’s hilarious.

2. The Deconstructionist Podcast

The Deconstructionist Podcast

In order for muscles to grow, they must be torn down and then built back up. The same is true for your faith. If your faith is never challenged intellectually (coming across ideas that you disagree with or make you uncomfortable) or experientially (finding yourself in a circumstance that challenges your faith framework) than your faith will never grow. Your faith must be challenged intellectually and experientially in order to grow. The Deconstructionist Podcast will help facilitate this process of growth. The podcast is hosted by two pastors who have been through (and are walking through) their own deconstruction. This is not to say that they are losing faith. Rather, they are gaining a richer and more beautiful faith as they converse with authors and speakers such as N.T. Wright, Richard Rohr, Sarah Bessey and many others!

3. Greg Boyd: Apologies & Explanations

Greg Boyd: Apologies & Explanations

There are few pastors and theologians I respect more than Greg Boyd. He is the pastor of Woodland Hills Church in St. Paul, MN, a prolific writer, and a drummer! This podcast features Greg answering listener questions in short, staccato fashion. Episodes range from 1-10 minutes so everyone has time to listen to this one.

Those are my top three picks for podcasts that will help you grow spiritually. A couple that I’ve just discovered that look promising are:
