New to Emmaus Road?

We understand that visiting a church can be intimidating. That’s why we’ve done our best to make sure you know where to go and have the information you need when you visit. Here is a look at what you can expect:

Finding Emmaus Road

Our church is located on the West side of Lemay Ave. between Stuart and Drake. Our church can sneak up on you as you are zipping by on Lemay. Heading South on Lemay, be prepared to turn into our parking lot right after Dartmouth Trail. Heading North on Lemay, move into the middle turning lane when you spot us on the left. Once on our property, enter our facility by walking under the Welcome sign where there will be some friendly faces ready to welcome you.

Greeters

From the time you pull into Emmaus Road to the time you are sipping great local coffee from the Bean Cycle there are people ready to welcome you and point you in the right direction. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask someone with a name tag marked “Greeter.” You can also stop by our Resource Center where you’ll find lots of information about the ministries of Emmaus Road and can pick up your free gift by filling out a visitor card.

Emmaus Road Kids

Children are so important to us at Emmaus Road. As a new church, our children’s ministry is still growing. We would love to have your family join us. When you come to Emmaus you won’t find any slides, flashing lights, or carnival rides in our children’s area. But, you will find a group of volunteers that will love and care for your children and give them the foundation they need through fun, age-appropriate teaching. Follow the signs to Child Check-In to get all the information you need regarding our children’s ministry.

Getting Plugged In

Getting involved in the life of a church can be difficult. Where do you start? What is the best way to get to know people? To help make it easy for you to move from first time guest to covenant partner we suggest the following steps:

  1. Regularly attend Sunday services. This helps you get a feel for the heartbeat of our church.
  2. Join a Bible Study. Here you’ll learn about scripture and have the chance to get to know people that are in a similar stage of life as you.
  3. Join a Life Group. Life groups allow you to go deeper in your relationships. They provide opportunities for accountability, fun, and spiritual encouragement. These do not consist of Bible study, but instead are focused on just sharing life together.
  4. Serve. Find a place of ministry in the church, and begin to help out with one of our ministries to the community.
  5. Become a Covenant Partner. Our Covenant Partners are the backbone of Emmaus Road. They are the members that have committed to support this community through attendance, service, giving, and doing what it takes to fulfill the mission God has given us.

By the time you become a Covenant Partner, you’ll feel like Emmaus Road is not only a church home, but a place where you can be yourself.
